I have been a leader at Rastrick High School for over 17 years. I have seen Rastrick continually develop into a vibrant, high performing school with a strong reputation for student care, quality of teaching and successful outcomes. I’ve held roles across pastoral, curriculum and teaching and learning and was Head of School from 2018.

Due to Rastrick’ s successful National Support School status I was designated an LLE (Local Leader of Education) in 2020 as I have helped support many schools across West Yorkshire and Lancashire in securing school improvement both at Primary and Secondary. This support has ranged from developing strong system leadership approaches across a range of disciplines to working with leaders and their staff to develop and share best practice.

I’m excited to be leading the next part of Rastrick High School’s journey as we grow the Polaris Multi Academy Trust and continue to build on our work as a highly successful National Support School. We are committed to working collaboratively with other schools to develop best practice approaches to school improvement which in turn enables every student to have an education we and more importantly they can be proud of.
